Is it more expensive to book a car with Airport Wheels than to get a taxi at the Airport ?

No, in fact it is cheaper, especially on longer trips. We guarantee our prices are extremely competitive.

Can I book a car at very short notice ?

Yes - subject to availability. If you wish to book a car to use within 24 hours, be sure to contact us by telephone, not by email. We will always do our best to help with your short notice requirements AT NO EXTRA CHARGE.

What vehicle will arrive to meet us ?

Your vehicle will be a top of the range people carrier with full leather interior, air conditioning, CD Player and privacy glass.

Will the vehicle be clean and tidy when it arrives to pick us up ?

Yes. All our vehicles are presented in first class condition, cleaned and valeted before we arrive to meet you.

Will I be charged for Car Parking at the Airport ?

No - unlike local taxi firms, Airport Wheels do not charge for car parking whilst we wait for you to arrive at the airport or cruise terminal.

What if my plane or cruise ship is delayed ?

Airport Wheels will track your plane's progress when it is in the air and ensure we are always there to meet you when you land. For cruise transfers, we will also monitor your cruise ship arrival time.

Is your company licensed and fully insured ?

Yes. Airport Wheels are fully licensed and insured.

How will I find my driver ?

Your driver will be waiting in the arrivals area with your name on a ‘Meet and Greet’ board. You will have his mobile contact number and he will have yours. You can contact your driver at anytime if you need to.

Will the driver help us with our luggage ?

Yes. Your driver will always help you with your luggage and do his best to assist you.

How can I pay for my booking ?

Airport Wheels accept all major credit and debit cards. Payment can also be made by cheque, bank transfer or in cash. You can also use our website to make a secure payment online. Cash payments must be made upfront on your outward journey.

Can I make a booking on line ?

Yes. You can use this website to book a car online.

Simply contact us with your travel requirements through our "Get A Quote" page or the "Contact Us" page. Be sure to include as much detail as possible as this will help us provide you with a detailed and accurate quote.

Will I receive confirmation for my booking ?

Yes. Airport Wheels will confirm every booking in writing via email. We ask that you check these details carefully and contact us asap if you need to make any changes.

What happens if I haven’t received confirmation and my transfer is imminent ?

Please call 07761 704597 and we will confirm your booking as quickly as possible. We always advise that you check the spam folder in your email just in case your confirmation email has been delivered as junk mail instead of direct to your inbox.

Can I pay for my booking online ?

Yes. You can use this website to pay for your booking online. Simply visit our payment page where you can use a debit or credit card to pay for your travel. Your payment is 100% safe and secure.

Can you send me a receipt ?

Yes. If you need a receipt, simply ask us when you make a booking and we will send you a receipt via email or post.

Will you meet us anytime of day or night ?

Yes. We operate 24 Hours a day and 7 Days a week. You can even book for travel on Bank Holidays.

Is it more expensive to travel during the night or at unsociable hours ?

No. Unlike local taxi firms, our costs are the same for travel at anytime of day or night.

Will my driver arrive smartly dressed ?

Yes. Your driver will always arrive in a smart business suit.

Is your service reliable ?

Absolutely. Our vehicles are extremely reliable and maintained to the highest standard. Our drivers are experienced and will always do their best to help.

For Business Travel, what if we need to change our journey plan on the day of travel ?

Requests for changes or additions to the agreed route or destination will be accepted subject to availabilty. We will do our best to accomodate your requests and unless the vehicle is needed elsewhere, we will usually be able to help without any fuss.

Can I change my booking before the date of travel ?

Yes - subject to availability. If you wish to alter the details of your booking please contact us as soon as possible and we will do our best to help.

Can I contact Airport Wheels from abroad in case of an emergency ?

Yes. Contact us on +44 7761 704 597 from abroad. Your driver will provide you with a business card before your flight with our contact details on. If you need to change your return journey details we will do our best to help.

Can you send me an invoice ?

Yes. On request we can send you an invoice by email. Please ask for this when you make your booking.

Can I smoke in the car ?

No. Airport Wheels operates a strict non smoking policy in all their vehicles. You can be sure that prior to our vehicle meeting you, no previous passenges have been smoking in the car. This helps maintain a high standard of cleanliness in all our vehicles. We also ask that passengers refrain from eating in our vehicles.

Will I pay more to travel on Bank Holidays ?

Special rates apply for travel on Bank Holidays. Contact us for details.
